I joined Lyft in February 2021 as Head of Brand Voice and partnered with the VPs and cofounders on updating the brand’s guidelines, hospitality principles, and and writing style guides.
We created a unified voice and style across all lines of business to create more cohesive communications for Lyft’s diverse audiences — from riders to drivers to the wider community.
Cohesive guidelines and clear values allowed us to create work that ranged from playful to political — without losing our sense of clarity about the brand itself.
